The IRIScan Executive 2 Mouse is a device that combines the functionalities of a computer mouse with those of a scanner, allowing you to scan documents of different sizes and formats up to A4 with extreme ease. Simply click on one of the special keys to start the scanning process and slide the IRIScan Executive 2 mouse over any paper document to display a digital PDF copy on your computer. The laser used in tracking mouse movements is the same as the one used in document scanning, achieving a resolution of up to 400 dpi. To provide more stable and accurate scanning, the IRIScan Executive 2 mouse includes a special mat that allows business cards to be inserted. These are visible and perfectly accommodated to start scanning, as the transparent surface of this mat leaves all data visible. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology recognizes characters in over 130 languages, creating searchable PDF files that can be easily converted into text documents or spreadsheets with the appropriate software.
